General Tournament Notes:

• The AVP Tour returns to the state where the very first AVP tournament was held in 1984 with a stop in Phoenix, Arizona
• The AVP has not been to Arizona since 2009, when Glendale hosted an eight-team invitational that pitted U.S. teams against Brazilian teams
• This marks the first indoor location for an AVP event (excluding Hot Winter Nights) since February 24, 1996 in New York
• Phoenix is home to champions and the AVP is blazing a trail... this weekend the AVP has the AVP Championships in Phoenix... on November 6, NASCAR will have its season ending NASCAR Cup Series Championship in Avondale... on February 12, the NFL will host an event they call Super Bowl LVII
