General Tournament Notes:

• The only two previous times the AVP played in Atlantic City were in 2013 and 2014, both of which were dual gender tournaments. However, as a state New Jersey has been a popular site for the AVP over the years.  The most frequented states are California, Florida, Illinois, Texas and then New Jersey.
• Between the men and women, a total of 29 states are represented here in terms of current states of residences. Players competing here are originally from seven different countries beside the U.S. (Canada, Brazil, Italy, Paraguay, Poland, Scotland and Ukraine).
• There are 6 men competing in Atlantic City who are playing for the 6th time this season on the AVP Tour (the most possible as two tournaments overlapped): Dave Palm, Roberto Rodriguez, Logan Webber, Avery Drost, Silila Tucker and Lev Priima
• There are 5 women competing in Atlantic City who are playing for the 6th time this season on the AVP Tour (the most possible as two tournaments overlapped): Larissa Maestrini, Lili Maestrini, Karolina Marciniak, Megan Rice and Katie Spieler
• In the qualifier on Friday, the men played 26 matches and just 4 of them went three sets.  Additionally, there were just 3 upsets (#13 beat #4, #14 beat #3, #10 beat #7)
• In the qualifier on Friday, the women played 20 matches and just 1 of them went three sets.  Additionally, there were just 4 upsets but none of them big (#17 beat #16, #18 beat #15, #9 beat #8, #10 beat #7)
