The Wilson Cup
- Ty Loomis and Miles Partain advanced from the qualifer to reach the main draw... when Ty Loomis made his AVP debut in May 2002, Partain was just 6 months old... the duo established a new AVP record for having the biggest age discrepancy between partners in a main draw (22 years, 7 months and 17 days difference in age)... the previous mark was set in Manhattan Beach 2018 when 40-year old Justin Phipps and 18-year old Garrett Peterson played together (21 years, 10 months and 29 days difference in age).
- All 8 men's matches on Saturday were sweeps and for the event only 2 of the 13 matches required a tiebreaker... just 3 of the 13 men's matches in the Monster Hydro Cup (Event #1) went to a third set... on the women's side last week matched the men with 3 of the 13 matches being decided in a third set while in this event 5 of the 13 needed a third set to decide the match
- Phil Dalhausser collected his 100th overall win (59th on the AVP Tour) as he and Nick Lucena swept Taylor Crabb and Jake Gibb
- In the finals Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena won the first set 21-9 against Taylor Crabb and Jake Gibb. That marked the fewest points a men’s team has scored in a first or second set of an AVP championship match since the 2016 season finale in Chicago. In that match, Dalhausser and Lucena held Tri Bourne and John Hyden to just seven points in the second set, winning 21-13, 21-7.
- Alix Klineman and April Ross dropped a couple sets but improved to 8-0 in matches on the year in winning their second straight title, this time defeating Melissa Humana-Paredes / Sarah Pavan in the championship match
